چکیده
Abstract The aim of this study was to find alternatives (even partial) mineral nitrogen fertilization reduce its harmful accumulation in the edible parts fennel. Fennel ( Foeniculum vulgare ) is a perennial plant Apiaceae family grown for shoots, leaves, and seeds. present work conducted two successive seasons, 2018/2019 2019/2020, at farm Agricultural Botany Department, Faculty Agriculture, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, investigate efficiency application biostimulants— Spirulina platensis algae extract (SP) 10% compost tea (CT) 6.72 ml L −1 —with partial doses (75 50%) recommended fertilizer dose on growth, photosynthetic pigments, fruit yield, essential oil productivity. results indicated that vegetative parameters, leaf number, branch shoot bulb fresh weight, dry as well yield components such 100-fruit weight number umbels per were significantly enhanced with SP foliar spray coupled 75% (SP + N) compared other treatments. Photosynthetic pigments total soluble carbohydrate improved when CT applied soil drenching N (CT N). In regard, clear effect noticed terms using dose. It concluded biostimulants only can be economical fennel production.

Photosynthesis, Growth and Cell Composition of Spirulina platensis (Arthrospira) Under Elevated Atmospheric CO2 and Nitrogen Supplement
The consequences of the addition of CO2 (1%) in cultures of S. platensis are examined in terms of biomass yield, cell composition and external medium composition. CO2 enrichment was tested under nitrogen saturating and nitrogen limiting conditions. Increasing CO2 levels did not cause any change in maximum growth rate while it decreased maximum biomass yield. Protein and pigments were decreased ...

متن کاملEvaluation of Basil (Ocimum basilicum L.) Essential Oil Content and Yield under Different Plant Densities and Nitrogen Levels
A study was conducted to investigate the effect of different planting densities and nitrogen doses on essential oil content and yield in herb and leaves of basil (Ocimum basilicum L.). The research was conducted during 2007 and 2008 using split-plot randomized complete block design with four replications. The experiment consisted of four plant densities (30×20, 40×20 and 50×20 cm) as the main p...
